A modest dress code is strictly enforced for all students and teachers at the studio. All clothing must be modest, with no spaghetti straps unless a leotard or sports bra is worn underneath. There are to be no bare midriffs. Sports bras are required ages 9+ or otherwise needed for modesty. All costumes will model these same guidelines and will be age appropriate. The following guidelines should be followed when dressing for class:
All Classes:
Hair must be secured off the face and neck. No outside shoes. Do not wear your dance shoes outside, on the street, in the parking lot, etc. They are for the dance floor only!
Creative Movement/Pre-Ballet:
Leotard,Pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
Tap/Ballet:
Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes
Ballet 1, Ballet 2:
Leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes to class. Hair must be pulled back in a bun (off face). Ballet skirts, warm-ups ok.
Tap/Jazz:
Leotard and tights in black or black dance pants with black leotard or tank top. Shorts over leotard and tights ok. Black Tap and Jazz shoes.
Hip Hop:
Black jazz pants, t-shirt or tank top, black dance sneakers.
Adult Classes:
Tap, Jazz, comfortable dance clothes to move in. Jazz or Tap shoes required for classes.
Musical Theater/Jazz 1:
Leotard and tights in black or black dance pants with black leotard or tank top.
