 The ballet tone class is a mix of pre pointe barre exercises, mat pilates (for dancers) and some yoga poses such as pigeon, down dog, chaturanga dandasana (low cobra - which is similar to "airplanes" which strengthen the back for ballet. Teacher Ellen completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training at One Flow in East Sac, and am at intermediate level in ballet. We emphasize safety first, which means focusing on proper placement & alignment - with a stable foundation. Bring a yoga mat, and let's have fun!
