Annie Donnell

Annie has always had a passion for performing. She discovered this passion at a very young age when she joined her elementary school’s drama club. From there she participated in countless musical theatre productions including Grease, Oklahoma, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She began dancing when she was 11 years old and since spent as much time dancing as possible. Annie is currently studying dance as a senior at Natomas Charter School Performing and Fine Arts Academy and is planning to graduate highschool with a distinction in dance. Outside of school she takes a variety of classes including ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary. She plans to continue her training in college by working towards obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance.

Annie has had many creative opportunities this year, such as choreographing Lincoln High School’s spring musical Once Upon a Mattress, and interning with Mclaughlin Theatre Company as the assistant choreographer for The Wizard of Oz, The Addams Family, and The Holiday Cabaret. This is Annie’s first year teaching and she cannot be more excited; she has always loved children and is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with them.
